The purpose of the proposed action is to stabilize and improve Lagunitas Creek salmonid populations by increasing the winter habitat carrying capacity for juvenile coho salmon and steelhead in Lagunitas Creek. The project will also improve water quality through the restoration of floodplain access to the stream, as well as installation of woody debris structures within the primary stream channel.
