The National Park Service (NPS) has prepared an Environmental Assessment (EA) to assess the potential resource impacts related to Unit Petroleum Company's proposal to construct and operate and 8-inch gathering line across the Menard Creek Corridor Unit (Unit) of Big Thicket National Preserve, located in Polk County, Texas. Unit Petroleum holds rights to nonfederally-owned oil and gas beneath the Unit.
