Demolish Caretaker's Cottage

Charles Pinckney National Historic Site » Demolish Caretaker's Cottage » Document List

At Charles Pinckney National Historic Site the National Park Service (NPS) proposes to demolish the Snee Farm caretaker's cottage. Snee Farm is listed in the National Register of Historic Places for its significance as a 20th-century agricultural property and vacation home. The caretaker's cottage is a contributing feature of Snee Farm.

Built in 1936, the caretaker's cottage is severely deteriorated and partially collapsed due to overgrown vegetation and pest infestation that occurred prior to NPS acquisition of the site.
