The purpose of the LRIP is to:
• Identify the significant natural, cultural and biological resources within the project area.
• Discuss how best to facilitate visitor exploration of these significant resources.
• Recommend a portfolio of interpretive media that will convey information regarding these resources and satisfy visitor interpretive and educational expectations.
• Recommend curriculum based education strategies and products that serve targeted audiences.
• Develop strategies to raise local, regional, national visibility and identity of the Ice Age National Scenic Trail.
Since the meetings, a draft of the Foundation document has been crafted and is now available for public review and comment. Please let us know your thoughts. This spring the Core Team will meet again to review everyone's comments, and continue to develop the LRIP. If you have any questions regarding the process or the document, please let us know.
We very much appreciate your continued participation in this process.
