The Upper Frame Barn is a large barn circa 1880-1900. It is approximately 60' x 50'. In the early 1990's the structure was used for maintenance operations and offices. The structure has not been in operational use for approximately 15+ years. During this time, decay and damage primarily through roof penetrations have compromised the structural integrity of the barn. The back and southwest exterior walls are partially collapsed.
A central cupola and several large dormers have collapsed in on the structure. The structure is located in an area that is easily accessible by visitors, contractors, partners and employees. To address the immediate safety concern, the barn has been fenced-off and signed to prohibit entrance to the structure and surrounding area. In its current state the structure presents and immediate serious safety hazard.
