Welcome to the PEPC website with information about the Proposed Fish Barrier Project for Snake Creek in Great Basin National Park.

The proposed action consists of constructing a fish barrier on the lower portion of Snake Creek, approximately 100 meters (326 ft.) upstream of the park boundary. The proposed fish barrier is intended to prevent the upstream invasion of nonnative fishes and aquatic invasive species into portions of Snake Creek occupied by a species of management concern, Bonneville cutthroat trout.
