Proposed 2013 Cruise Ship Quota for Glacier Bay

The Superintendent of Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve has proposed the seasonal use-day quota for the 2013 cruise ship operating season. The proposed quota would remain unchanged from the 2012 level. Currently, the quota for the June, July, and August summer season is set at 153 use days and the quota for the May and September shoulder season is set at 92 use days.
The NPS is soliciting public comment on the proposed quota. Comment may be submitted until close of business on February 29, 2012.
