The Northern Rio Grande National Heritage Area (NRGNHA) Management Plan is now available for public review.

Completion of a Management Plan is required by the authorizing legislation (Public Law 109-338) for the Northern Rio Grande National Heritage Area. The Management Plan describes the Heritage Area's management structure, duties, mission, and goals, as well as its prohibition on the acquisition of real property. The Plan includes an inventory of the Heritage Area's natural, cultural, and recreational resources, and presents approaches to historic preservation, and the conserving of community and tradition. It offers ways to interpret Heritage Area resources, and identifies sources of funding to carry out the Management Plan.
