Proposed 2012 Glacier Bay Cruise Ship Quota

The Superintendent of Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve has proposed the seasonal use-day quota for cruise ships for the 2012 operating season. The proposed quota would remain unchanged from the 2011 level. Currently, the quota for the June, July, and August summer season is set at 153 use days and the quota for the May and September shoulder season is set at 92 use days.

The NPS is soliciting public comment on the proposed quota. Comment may be submitted until close of business on August 15, 2011.
