The National Park Service (NPS) requests public comment regarding a proposal of an adjacent landowner to install a driveway under the conditions set forth in the landowner's land deed (Maury County, TN). This Environmental Assessment (EA) analyzes the impacts of the proposed driveway installation in the location set forth in the land deed. This EA has been prepared to analyze the impacts of two potential alternatives for completing the proposed project: the Action Alternative, and the No Action Alternative and has been prepared in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) of 1969, regulations of the Council on Environmental Quality (40 CFR 1508.9), the National Park Service Director's Order (DO)-12 (Conservation Planning, Environmental Impact Analysis, and Decision Making), and The National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 (as amended).
