The Ansel Adams Gallery (AAG), owned and managed by Matthew Adams, operates as a National Park Service concessioner. Per the terms of the concession contract, the AAG is assigned to five historic structures located near the Visitor Center in Yosemite Valley. Each of the residential buildings is in need of significant repair. Several impending projects have been identified to protect the integrity of the structures and improve the living conditions of the staff that are employed by the AAG. The two buildings selected for this project (900 and 902-A) are in need of immediate repair. Ongoing consultation with the park Historical Architect would take place as needed to ensure that all work performed is consistent with the requirements of the National Park Service.
