Removal of two reconstructed wickiup structure frames and two wayside exhibit panels in standard frames and bases. Wickiups and waysides located east of the visitor center along the backwater edge of the Mississippi River.
First constructed in 2004, the area is located in a highly disturbed area at the foot of the visitor center developed area and septic leach field. In the spring of 2009, remnants of two bear effigies and the conical mounds thought to be entirely destroyed by early 20th century plowing were located through an archeological survey - about 150 feet north of the demonstration area. For that reason the demonstration area was not reconditioned or restored for the 2009 summer visitation season.
