Enclosed is a copy of the Baca Mountain Tract and Camino Chamisa Project Environmental Analysis for
Comment (EA). We are asking the public for comments on the analysis during the 30-day comment period which will begin upon publication of the notice of availability in the Valley Courier. The date of publication is expected on July 2,2009.
Two public meetings are scheduled during the comment period:
July 7,2009 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the White Eagle Conference Center, 67485 County Road T, Crestone, Colorado
July 13,2009 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Alamosa County Administrative Building, Room 108-B, 8900 Independence Way, Alamosa, Colorado.
Information on the project is also available on the Rio Grande National Forest website at
http://www.fs.fed.us/r2/riogrande/projects and on the National Park Service website at
http://parkplanning.nps.gov/parks.cfm.
