Scope of painting work includes:
1. Providing clean exteriors of buildings complete with a method that will not disturb underlayers of paint.
2. Provide ground protection during cleaning and preparation operations to capture paint waste chips. Dispose of paint waste per California State regulations.
3. Remove loose and scaling paint gently by scraping or mild hand sanding.
4. Spot prime
5. Install 2 coats exterior grade paint to match existing
6. First coat shall be allowed to dry prior to second coat being installed
7.Moisture testing of substrates.
8.Surface preparation of substrates as required for acceptance of paint, including cleaning, small crack repair, patching, caulking, and making good surfaces ready for paint.
Fencing painting includes:
1. Wash down of all fences along front of houses on Meadow Row to remove debris.
2. Paint all fences along front of houses.
In addition the contractor will remove and securely store all miscellaneous hardware and surface fittings and replace when work is complete. All exterior surfaces and areas will be protected including landscaping, walks, drives, and adjacent building surfaces. Foliage will be removed or protected as needed.
