Two footings will be constructed. A vertical brace will be anchored into each footing. The braces will "cradle" the pipe. Ground disturbance to establish a footings for the two support brackets will not exceed 4 cubic feet (24"x24"x12") per footing. The area designated for each footing is disturbed soil. A bond break will be installed to prevent any damage to historic masonry from the concrete footings during installation. This project will be undertaking Winter 2007.
The 29th Street Bridge is slated for major work within the next few years. Permanent bracing will be incorporated into the bridge design and the temporary bracing will be removed.
