Mr. Phillip Moss has submitted a request to construct a covered deck and wheelchair accessible ramp on the main club house on his property where the Park holds a scenic easement. It was confirmed that this will be a deck and Moss has no plans for converting this deck to additional room(s). It is believed that extending the green metal roof of the house over the deck will repair a current drainage problem of water coming directly off the roof near the foundation. The wheelchair accessible ramp, which will be used by family members, would repair the primary entrance into the house. The deck would be 10 to 12 feet wide by 40 feet long on the northwest or back side of the Club House away from the river. The house is approximately 500 feet from the river and on a significantly higher bench than the river. The riparian vegetation screens the Club House from the view of any visitors on the river. The deck can not be seen, even if a visitor were to come up to the 300 feet distance allowed for viewing scenery and/or photographing. There is no public road, trail or viewpoint where visitors could view the Club House and thus see the deck.
