New Site signs at Fletchers Cove
Chesapeake and Ohio Canal National Historical Park » New Site signs at Fletchers Cove
The staff of the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal National Historical Park have installed two signs at Fletcher's Cove. These signs are directional and will help visitors navigate to Fletcher's Cove parking lot, the towpath, and the Capital Crescent Trail.
The signs will be established in previously disturbed ground.
The project has been reviewed for impacts to natural and cultural resources by the park's Interdisciplinary Team. The project does not pose any serious or long-term effects to the environmental, historical, cultural, archeological, or visual resources. It meets Categorical Exclusion #C.5 - Installation of signs, displays, and kiosks.
