The Chesapeake and Ohio Canal NHP will install a wayside exhibit which explains the use and function of a fish ladder at Little Falls Dam, Potomac River. This exhibit will be installed on the riverside of the towpath, at mile marker 5.5.
This project has been reviewed for impacts to natural and cultural resources by the park's Interdisciplinary Team. The project does not pose any serious or long-term effects to environmental, historical, cultural, archeological, or visual resources. It meets Categorical Exclusion #C.5 - Installation of signs, displays, and kiosks.
