This project entails replacement of the Quincy Mine Hoist Association's passenger tram loading platforms. The universal design of the new platforms will provide accessibility for all visitor's to the Quincy Mine Underground Tour. The new loading platforms will be placed in the same location as the existing platforms and will require minimal ground disturbance.
Funding for this project has been accomplished through the Director's Challenge Cost-Share program, with the Quincy Mine Hoist Association providing a 50% match through a combination of cash and in-kind services.
