At Building 153 in Kotzebue, Alaska, NPS will replace the carpet & vinyl. Repair sheetrock, repaint interiors and replace countertops and hydronic heating fin tubes. Paint the exterior walls. Replace the existing undersized and deteriorating boiler units in the four-plex. Work is expected to begin in June and run through September.
NPS has approved and reviewed this project in compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA).
