The NPS is charged with the preservation of its cultural and natural resources and is required to explore all actions with the potential to significantly impact it’s the Park’s environment through the NEPA process. We welcome input, concerns, questions, and other possible solutions from the public. If you wish us to withhold your name and/or address, you must state this prominently at the beginning of your comment. We will make all submissions from organizations, businesses, and from individuals identifying themselves as representatives or officials of organizations or businesses available for public inspection in their entirety.
This environmental assessment will be on public review for 60 days. The availability of this document for comment and review will be published in the local newspaper. Copies will be made available to the public in all Park visitor centers or by calling 804-795-5019. It will also be sent to various local, state, and federal agencies, and to a variety of individuals or groups having an interest in the management of the Park and its resources.
