This environmental assessment analyzes several different sites and alternatives for a proposal to install two permanent climate monitoring stations within Yukon-Charley Rivers National Preserve. These installations are proposed by the Central Alaska Network of the NPS Inventory and Monitoring Program. Of the two sites, the lowland site would be within a National Historic District in Coal Creek and the other in the uplands of the Wild Charley River basin in a wilderness study area. The public comment period will be open until July 28, 2005.
Thank you for your interest in the long term management of Yukon-Charley Rivers National Preserve.
