Southern California Edison (SCE) proposes to upgrade the ground wire system on an electrical transmission line that crosses Mojave National Preserve in the Lugo-Victorville Remedial Action Scheme (LVRAS). the project would be constructed within SCE's existing right-of-way. To implement the project, SCE would need a Special Use Permit for construction. This action is being analyzed under and Environmental Assessment pursuant to the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). The Bureau of Land Management is the lead agency for compliance; Mojave National Preserve is a cooperating agency.
