Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area is proposing to bring houseboat operations back to the Keller Ferry Marina. The current facilities at the Keller Ferry Marina are dilapidated and do not accommodate houseboats. This project will focus on the need to improve NPS compliance with the current concession contract; create safer visitor conditions on the lake by decreasing operational congestion at Seven Bays Marina; replace outdated docks; improve accessibility for visitors; and make houseboat rental more accessible to the public. The goal of this project is to maintain the health and safety of visitors at the park and improve their visitor experience.
A public meeting was held on December 19, 2023, and a public comment period was held from December 18, 2023, to January 31, 2024.
