Dayton Aviation Heritage National Historical Park in Ohio was established to commemorate the legacy of Wilbur and Orville Wright and Paul Laurence Dunbar, and to promote preservation and interpretation of resources related to the lives of these three men. This Draft General Management Plan Amendment and Environmental Impact Statement focuses on resource conditions and visitor experiences at the Huffman Prairie Flying Field and the Interpretive Center at the Wright Memorial, and, in particular, on methods for achieving transportation and interpretation connections between those two areas for the next 10 to 15 years. Three alternatives were considered. Alternative C has been identified as the National Park Service’s preliminary preferred future management direction. Potential consequences and environmental impacts of all alternatives are identified and assessed in this document.
