AMIS is in the process of adding all group campgrounds to Rec.gov, requiring the park to pay a CLIN (processing) fee for all reservations. RM22A 3.2.4.3 states that parks should move to tiered or flate rate when possible. The proposed project would raise fees at Amistad National Recreation Area as follows:
Rock Quarry Group Campground:
We are moving from a $2 per person $30 minimum fee rate to a tiered 1-15 people @ $35 and 16-35 people @ $75. Open air pavilion is made of stone/rock.. It sits on a hill, overlooking the lake, with a beautiful view. There are picnic tables in the pavilion and a barbecue pit. The pavilion will hold approximately 35 people
San Pedro Group Campground:
We are moving from a $2 per person and $30 minimum fee rate to a tiered 1-15 people @ $35, 16-35 people @ $75, and 36-75 people max @ $ 155 per night. Primitive campground for groups. The area has dedicated parking, a private entrance, and a private camping area. Fires in provided fire pit only. Bring your own water.
