Please join park staff and planners to learn about and discuss the boundary adjustment study. You are welcome anytime during the hours identified below.

 
Description:
National Park Service staff will be hosting a public open house Thursday, June 19 from 5-7 p.m. at the Appomattox Community Center. A presentation will begin at 5:30 p.m. with an introduction by Superintendent Reed Johnson and a brief presentation regarding the National Park Service Boundary Adjustment Study criteria and planning process. Park Historian Patrick Schroeder will give a brief history of the Appomattox Campaign. Following the presentation, the public will be invited to view maps and share their thoughts and ideas with National Park Service staff on potential boundary adjustments at various interactive stations.
