The National Park Service is preparing a foundation document to inform planning and management of Rock Creek Park. The park welcomes all interested persons to participate in this effort. A foundation document identifies a national park unit's core purpose and significance, its most important resources and values, and interpretive themes.

Description:
Rock Creek Park is truly a gem in our nation's capital. The features that are administered by Rock Creek Park include numerous additional sites and parks that radiate out from the Rock Creek Valley. Rock Creek Park is both a specific place, a park established by Congress in 1890, and an administrative unit of the National Park Service. Collectively, the sites and landscapes managed by Rock Creek Park reflect a diversity of social needs and reason for creating parks.

Meeting Directions/Instructions:
Enter the St. John's campus from 27th Street - first right from Military Road. Parking is in the lot adjacent to the circle. Look for us through the red door.
