Please join staff from the National Park Service and Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife to learn about and discuss the proposed action to restore fishers to the southwestern and northwestern Cascades, including Mount Rainier and North Cascades National Parks. You are welcome anytime during the hours identified below, but a formal presentation about the proposed action will begin around 5:30pm.

 
Description:
The purpose of this meeting is to provide information to the public about the proposed action and seek public comment. The meeting will be structured as an open house, where the public is able to talk to NPS and WDFW staff, ask questions, and provide input into the planning process. There will also be a formal presentation on the fisher, the proposed action, and the planning process from approximately 5:30-6:00pm.

Meeting Directions/Instructions:
From I-5: Take exit 232 for Cook Rd. Turn east on Cook Rd (turn left from the off ramp if heading south on I-5, turn right if heading north). Proceed straight through the first traffic circle to stay on Cook Road. Take the second right in the next traffic circle to proceed on State Highway 20 east. Proceed on Highway 20 through the next traffic circles. The park headquarters building is on the north side of Highway 20 (to your left), before the junction with Township St.

Meeting Directions/Instructions:
Driving from the north (going south) via Interstate-5
Take I-5 exit 165B at Union Street.
Follow Union three blocks west to Fifth Avenue.
Turn left on Fifth and go south three blocks to Spring Street.
The library is on the right.

Driving from the south (going north) via I-5
Take I-5 exit 165 at Seneca Street.
Follow Seneca Street one block west.
Turn left on Fifth Avenue and go south one block to Spring Street.
The library is on the right.

Driving from the east via I-90
When I-90 ends, take the ramp toward northbound I-5.
Take the second exit at Madison Street.
Turn left on Madison Street and go west two blocks to Fifth Avenue.
The library is on the right.

Public Transportation Information
All bus routes that provide service to downtown Seattle come within walking distance of the library and many stop within a block.

Meeting Directions/Instructions:
From I-5: Take exit 127 for WA-512 E (signs for Washington 512E/Puyallup). Take the Steele St exit. Turn left onto Steele St S. Continue onto 116th St S and then onto Spanaway Loop Rd S. Turn left onto WA-704 E. Turn right onto WA-7 S and proceed for about 48 miles. Turn left onto US-12 E. Destination will be on the left after 33.2 miles.
