The National Park Service, Canal Place Authority, and the City of Cumberland will host an public open house to share preliminary information regarding the NPS's environmental assesement and the Canal Place Heritage Area Management Plan Update/Downtown Plan.
 
Description:
Please join project staff to learn more about the proposed projects and heritage area designations. The open house will be held during the below listed time. Public scoping will be open beginning April 18 through May 18, 2012. Comments received during the scoping process will be used to develop project alternatives.

Meeting Directions/Instructions:
I-68 – eastbound. Take exit 43A., take ramp right for Johnson St. toward WV 28 Alt. Turn left onto S Johnson St. Turn right onto Greene St. Turn right onto Baltimore St, and then immediately turn right onto Canal St. Arrive at 13 Canal St, Cumberland, MD.
I-68 – westbound. At exit 43C, take ramp right toward Downtown. Turn left onto W Harrison St. At traffic light, proceed straight. Turn right onto Canal St. Arrive at 13 Canal St, Cumberland, MD
