Please join park managers to learn about and discuss the Comprehensive Shorebird Management Plan. You are welcome anytime during the hours identified below.
 
Description:
Cape Cod National Seashore officials has prepared a Comprehensive Shorebird Management Plan with an associated environmental assessment (EA). An analysis of alternatives and their potential impacts to the environment and park resources are presented in the EA.

To assist the NPS with this project, the public is invited to comment on the EA. The document is available at the NPS Planning, Environment, and Public Comment (PEPC) website at http://parkplanning.nps.gov/projectHome.cfm?projectID=37030.

A public open house will be held on November 17, from 4-7 pm at the Salt Pond Visitor Center, 50 Nauset Road, Eastham. The open house will provide information and opportunity to comment on the plan.

Meeting Directions/Instructions:
From Boston area: Take Route 3 south, to the Sagamore Bridge in Bourne. Follow Route 6 eastward to Eastham.

From Providence, RI: Take I-95 north to, I-195. Follow Route 6 eastward as described above.

Once on Cape, the visitor center is located about 3 miles north of the Route 6 Orleans Rotary.
