The purpose of the meeting is to provide the Gardiner Community information about the proposed project and how the design, construction, and scheduling may affect the Community.
 
Description:
A public meeting regarding the Gardiner Gateway Project is scheduled for March 19, 2014 at the Gardiner Community Center, 210 West Main Street, in Gardiner, Montana from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm. The meeting will open with brief remarks from the project partners followed by an open house.

In addition to providing the Gardiner Community an update on the project, this meeting is also intended to assist Western Federal Lands Highway Division of the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) comply with various Federal laws and regulations including the National Environmental Policy Act, the National Historic Preservation Act, and Section 4(f) of the Department of Transportation Act of 1966. FHWA admininsters the Federal Lands Access Program, which provides funding for the project. FHWA is also responsible for facilitating the development of the design with project partners and administering the construction contract.
