Public comments on the EA will play a key role in this decision. To facilitate public comment, the National Park Service will host two public meetings in Chelan (March 18th) and Stehekin (March 19th).
 
Description:
Thursday, March 18, 2010 from 6-8 p.m. Campbell's Resort, East-West Conference Room, 104 W. Woodin Street, Chelan, WA 98816. The meeting will include a presentation followed by a public comment session.

Description:
The meeting will begin with a presentation about the project at the Golden West Visitor Center, then move (weather permitting) to the winter Ferry Landing to answer questions and discuss the project on-site with National Park Service staff and project engineers.

Meeting Directions/Instructions:
Visitors may boat, fly or hike to Stehekin.
