Description:
Please join the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal NHP staff to learn about the preferred alternative regarding Summit Hall Turf Farm water access from the Potomac River to their property. The project would be within Mile 28-29 of the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal National Historical Park, in Montgomery County, MD. The meeting agenda will be an overview of the preferred alternative contained within the environmental assessment, which is on review from July 11, 2011 through August 12, 2011. This meeting will afford the public an opportunity to ask questions about the project. Only written comments regarding the environmental assessment can be accepted. Meeting Directions/Instructions:
Poolesville, Maryland - Route 107 to Tom Fox Avenue. The school is approximately 8/10ths of a mile after the intersection of Route 107 and Tom Fox Avenue.
