Description:
Lake Roosevelt NRA invites the public to attend open house sessions to review the proposed alternatives for the above document. This would provide an opportunity to discuss any concerns with park personnel and submit written comments. The public review and comment period for the Draft FMPEA began February 21, 2005 and ends March 27, 2005.
The purpose of the Lake Roosevelt NRA Draft FMPEA is to supplement the existing EA by adding project areas for hazard fuel reduction and to revise the operating guidelines for project implementation expanding the use of mechanical methods and the continued use of prescribed fire to accomplish park management objectives.
Two locations will host open houses. These will be informal sessions between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m.
