Description:
Lake Roosevelt NRA invites the public to attend open house sessions to review the proposed alternatives for the above document. This would provide an opportunity to discuss any concerns with park personnel and submit written comments. The public review and comment period for the Draft LMPEA began August 23, 2004 and ends October 7, 2004.
The purpose of the Lake Roosevelt NRA Draft LMPEA is to manage grazing activities that were specifically authorized by federal law in 2001 in a manner that is consistent with the National Park Service mission and policies, and the park�s purposes. This plan is only relevant to the land within Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area.
Two locations will host open houses. These will be informal sessions between 6:00 and 8:00p.m.
