During the week of July 25 (60 days after the start of the comment period), the National Park Service will hold public meetings in four Washington communities to receive your input on the contents of the draft plan/EIS. We hope you can attend one of these meetings. This meeting is the first of these four meetings.


 
Description:
The doors to the public meeting will open at 6:30 p.m. to sign in, view posters, and submit written comments. Welcoming remarks will begin promptly at 7:00 p.m., followed by an oral comment period for the duration of the meeting. Each commenter will be given three minutes to speak - the timeframe will ensure that everyone who desires to speak will be able to do so. A court reporter will record all oral comments. Oral comments provided during public meetings are no more important than written comments. If you are not comfortable speaking in front of others, there will be opportunities to provide written comments.
