Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI)


Dennis A. Vásquez, National Park Service (NPS) Superintendent of Petroglyph National Monument, announces the completion of the Visitor Use Management Plan/Environmental Assessment (VUM Plan/EA) with the signing of the finding of no significant impact (FONSI) by the NPS Acting Intermountain Regional Director on March 12, 2019. The public was provided an opportunity to review and comment on the VUM Plan/EA in fall 2018. The FONSI (with errata and response to public comments) and the environmental assessment describe the final decision of the NPS for the VUM Plan/EA. The FONSI and the VUM Plan/EA can be viewed by clicking the "Document List" link on the left side of this web page. The project will occur in phases and will be implemented as funding becomes available.
