Signed FONSI-Hidden Slough Pilot Project

The FONSI (Finding of No Significant Impact) identifies the selected alternative, which is to revegetate Hidden Slough on the Colorado River. The project would replace non-native species (primarily tamarisk) with native vegetation in order to rehabilitate and enhance the native biodiversity and ecological functionality associated with indigenous riparian and upland habitat. The FONSI was signed by the NPS regional director on 11-7-08.
