Construction of Park Housing at East Glacier and Swiftcurrent Developed Areas Environmental Assessment

Glacier National Park is proposing to construct replacement park employee housing in the Swiftcurrent housing area at Many Glacier and the NPS developed area at East Glacier. Please follow the link below to review the document.

Please note that this EA reflects changes that have been made to the standard content of NPS EAs as a result of a revised Director's Order 12 (DO-12) Handbook approved in 2015, and does not contain some of the sections you have seen in past EAs issued by Glacier. Notable changes are: NPS EAs no longer need thresholds or intensity definitions for the impact analysis and no longer need to identify an environmentally preferable alternative.
