Finding of No Significant Impact, World War I Memorial


The National Park Service (NPS) prepared an environmental assessment (EA) to evaluate alternative
actions and environmental impacts associated with the proposed project to enhance the former Pershing
Park as a national World War I Memorial. The Memorial is needed to fulfill the Congressional mandate
for the establishment of a national World War I Memorial at the former Pershing Park.
