The National Park Service encourages the public to play a role by sharing their thoughts on what is most important about Vicksburg, potential issues that could threaten future preservation and commemoration of the site, and what opportunities exist to improve the protection of this national treasure.

To hear more information and share your thoughts in person with National Park Service Staff, please attend the open house at the Vicksburg National Military Park Visitor Center on Monday, January 27, 2014 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
