Environmental Assessment for Fox Deed-Reserved Access

The National Park Service (NPS) is reviewing a proposal of an adjacent landowner, Mr. Roy Fox, to install a driveway under the conditions set forth in Mr. Fox's land deed. This Environmental Assessment (EA) analyzes the impacts of the proposed driveway installation in the location set forth in the land deed. This EA has been prepared to analyze the impacts of two potential alternatives for completing the proposed project: the Action Alternative, and the No Action Alternative and has been prepared in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) of 1969 and regulations of the Council on Environmental Quality (40 CFR 1508.9), and the National Park Service Director's Order (DO)-12 (Conservation Planning, Environmental Impact Analysis, and Decision Making), and The National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 (as amended).
