Proposed Fee Increase for Transportation Services


The National Park Service is seeking public input from September 23 - November 30, 2013, about proposed increase in the park entrance fee from $5.00 to $10.00 to support transportation services. This is the first proposed fee increase to support the shuttle bus system at Pinnacles. All public comments must be received by November 30, 2013. The proposed fees would come into effect in 2014.

Interested parties are encouraged to make comments electronically via the National Park Service's Planning, Environment and Public Comment (PEPC) website at http://parkplanning.nps.gov/pinn. Click on: Proposed Fee Increase for Transportation Services. To submit written comments by letter, you may send them by U.S. Postal Service or other mail delivery service, or hand-deliver your comments to Superintendent, Pinnacles National Park, Attn: Proposed Fee Increase for Transportation Services, 5000 Highway 146, Paicines, CA 95043. Comments submitted by e-mail and anonymous comments will not be accepted.
