Olympic National Park Fire Management Plan Revised Environmental Assessment

The purpose of this revised environmental assessment is to consider the impacts of implementing various fire management strategies at Olympic National Park. While each alternative presents a different path for the park's fire program, they all address the goal of protecting lives, property, and natural resources in a cost effective method.

In addition to providing information required by law and the 2001 National Fire Policy Review, this environmental assessment responds to issues and concerns raised during scoping and during the first public review of this assessment, including the effect of fire management activities on resources.

The revised environmental assessment has been updated to reflect the modifications from the first public review, and to reflect any changes resulting from the second public review and consultations. These changes are shown in blue and underlined.
