Old Rag Mountain Visitor Use Study - Final Report, June 2020
The Old Rag Mountain Visitor Use Study was commissioned by Shenandoah National Park to inform development of visitor use management strategies and actions to address the impacts of visitor use on the Old Rag Mountain Trail. The purpose of the study was to collect descriptive information about the types, volumes, and patterns of visitor use on the Old Rag Mountain Trail, and evaluative information regarding visitors' perceptions of, tolerances for, and attitudes about managing visitor use on the trail. This is the final report from that study, published in June 2020.
