Draft GMP/EIS Summary: The Preferred Option for Management


This document is a brief (16-page) summary of the Draft General Management Plan/Environmental Impact Statement (GMP/EIS) for Roosevelt-Vanderbilt National Historic Sites. The Draft GMP/EIS is now available for public review and comment. The plan will guide long-term decisions about the preservation and use of the Home of Franklin D. Roosevelt National Historic Site, Eleanor Roosevelt National Historic Site (Val-Kill), and the Vanderbilt Mansion National Historic Site. Members of the public are welcome to review this summary, if they do not wish to read the full-text version of the draft plan (320+ pages).
