Power Point Quinn Evans

This is a power point created by Quinn Evans Architects that illustrates the proposed modifications at the west entry wall at Franklin Court. These modifications include: a new ground level glass vestibule that will enclose a new gift shop and entrance area that includes a new elevator. The project will relocate the entrance door to the underground museum to the vestibule area. Stairs will replace the present ramp. The vestibule will replace the current row of shop posts and awning along the west The enamelled graphic signs that interpret the development of Franklin Court and are currently mounted in the west brick wall will be replaced by a new interpretive area within the glass vestibule.
The underground museum area which does not contribute to National Register eligibility will be reconfigured and a new exhibit installed there. The project will also install new life safety systems and HVAC that will improve energy costs. INDE will charge a modest interpretive fee ($5 adults, $3 children, free to reserved school groups) for entry into the new underground museum.
