Environmental Assessment for Fire Management Plan

The National Park Service at Manassas National Battlefield Park has made available to interested governmental and private bodies and individuals an Environmental Assessment (EA) to evaluate a range of alternatives for a proposed update of and revisions to the Fire Management Plan at Manassas National Battlefield Park in Manassas, Virginia. The EA considered potential impacts to the natural and manmade environments including: soils, vegetation, water resources, wildlife and habitat, air quality, visitor use and experience, park management and operations, public health and safety, and cultural resources.
