This study, requested by Congress in Public Law 110-229, evaluates if the Newtonia Battlefields in Newtonia, Missouri, meet the criteria for addition to the national park system as an independent NPS unit, or as an addition to the Wilson's Creek National Battlefield in Republic, Missouri.
